Ports 34580 and 34543 are used in multiple config files and I would rather have a system that worked without modifying them all.
That is what I was able to do with Web Apps from 10.8 to 10.10.

And web apps are the recommend way of doing this according to the ReadMe in /Library/Server/Web/Config/Apache

I will keep on experimenting.
